Amanda Sainz is a former licensed educator for CCSD in Las Vegas, Nevada. She pioneered and developed curriculum for the first dance education program at Desert Pines High School. Amanda Sainz is a firm believer in the importance of the arts within the at risk community. Amanda founded Identity Dance Company that is built on her ‘Identify Through Dance’ Curriculum, with a primary focus on dance therapy. Her experience within her profession has taught her that although technique and fundamentals are important for an educator to instill, it is even more valuable to instill the idea into every child that all dreams are possible. Amanda Sainz’s passion for the arts and education inspired her first publication “Oh No Silly Goose” an inspirational children’s book. Corresponding with the children’s book she designed and manufactured plush toys as well as developed an educational game app. Amanda Sainz is a relentless and determined individual whose life mission is to make a difference and she will rise to any challenge in order to successfully meet all expectations.
